Introductory Post

Happy New Year Everyone!!!!
I am Kiylise Crutchfield and I am a Program Counselor for MI GEAR UP here at Wayne State University. I work out of the Office of Federal Trio and provide college prep services to local high school students. My passion is creatively helping youth realize their potential and creating a plan for post-secondary education. I absolutely love technology and social media. My hobbies include social event planning, working out, traveling, writing and spending time with my family, friends and dog. I am taking this class so that I can enhance my implementation of utilizing technology in the classroom with my current students. I look forward to the rest of the semester.

    Happy New Year! I think taking this course is a great way to start the new year. I am new to blogging. Have you blogged before? I was thinking that you might have because you mentioned you like to write. I have a few friends who are authors and they really enjoy blogging. Blogging is new to me, so I will be interested in how this works.

      I'm glad you decided on this course for the New Year. I have blogged before and implemented blogging for program use with high school students. I enjoy writing and blogging (while it may be fun) it requires so much devotion and time. I use to write for about men's fashion for a music and fashion blog site. I am looking to get my personal blog back up and running...just searching for time....See ya on the blogs.

    Welcome back! It's always interesting to see how the same offices (TRiO, etc.) run at different institutions (comparing to my experiences at my current position).
